Link 101 is an Indiana Department of Transportation study to identify a selected alternative for an improved State Road 101 connection between the Markland Dam and US 50.

The SR 101 extension is expected to provide more direct access to I-71 and US 50 and improve connectivity in southeastern Indiana.

The public and stakeholders will be informed throughout the process with a chance to share their questions and feedback. Stakeholder groups include a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and an Environmental Justice (EJ) Working Group.

Community Advisory Committee

The CAC is a group of stakeholders that discusses project-related issues, and members serve as liaisons between the community or organization they represent and the Project Team.

Environmental Justice Working Group

EJ Working Group members primarily focus on issues that have the potential to impact low-income or minority populations, and they also serve in an important advisory role throughout the project.

Public Involvement

Touchpoints and available resources include a project office, project website, social media channels, project e-mails and text alerts, stakeholder meetings, public meetings and a public hearing that will be followed by a public comment period.
